World's Largest Outdoor Pool at San Alfonso del Mar Resort, Chile

The enormous man-made pool, set along the coastline, is larger than 20 Olympic-size pools and holds a whopping 66 million gallons of water, according to The Daily Mail. Crystal Lagoons, the creator of the pool, claims it's six-times bigger than its closest competitor, the Orthlieb Pool in Casablanca, Morocco.

Not only is the pool long, it's deep. It holds the Guinness World Record for being the world's deepest (115 feet) and up keep costs a cool 2 million pounds annually.

The nearly 20-acre pool sucks water directly in from the sea using a computer-controlled suction and filtration system.
